Permanent make-up does not fully replace traditional makeup, but it can significantly reduce the need for daily makeup application. Treatments are designed to enhance your natural features with long-lasting pigment, saving time and creating a polished look every day. While permanent make up provides definition and colour, some people still choose to use traditional makeup for added style, coverage, or special occasions.

How long your Permanent make up will last is dependent on many factors, skin type, sun exposure, skincare used, medication etc. Your permanent make up will fade over time and there will be a halo of pigment in the skin. An annual colour boost is recommended every 12 -18 months. *Please note that if you have oily skin your colour boost may be more frequent for brows.

Once the booking has been made you will need to fill out some forms to confirm that you understand the process and are suitable for the proceedure. ​ 2. Consultation: An in depth consultation is completed on the day of your appointment, Tamara will answer any questions/concerns that you have, and, explain the process to you. ​ ​ 3. Pre draw: The pre draw of the brow shape can sometimes take longer than the actual tattooing. TB Beauty will assess your face, and measure uring various different tools to ensure the brows are as symmetrical as possible. TB Beauty will always use your natural hair as a base so that maintenance is minimal. The style is drawn on based on the clients requirements, brow shape and bone structure. The client will then check the shape and ensure they are happy, and, any adjustments will be made. ​ 4. Colour Selection: TB Beauty will discuss the colour with you and match the shade of brow as best as possible to your natural brow. The shade will fade by up to 50% once healed (which is why a colour boost is recommened). ​ 5. Tattooing: Pigment is applied to the top, dermal layers of the skin using a selection of needles or one small needle, this will depend on the treatment that you have. ​ ​6. Aftercare: Aftercare will be provided to you after treatment.

There is a level however the pain is minimal or no pain at all. Tamara will talk you through every step and everything is fully explained before anything is carried out. Most clients rate the pain a 3/10.

The procedure takes around 3 hours from start to finish.

Your skin may be a little red and tender, this usually subsides within the first 2 hours. After the first application your permanent make up will be dark and crisp, this colour will reduce up to 50% as it heals. An aftercare pack is provided and fully explained after the procedure.

Brows will take 2 weeks to heal, and 4 weeks for the colour to settle into the skin. Lip blush takes 7 days to heal.

TB Beauty is able to top up another artists work, yes. We do require a photo before your appointment to double check we are able to. Sometimes if a clients skin is already heavily saturated with pigment, has a uneven shape that we cannot fix then we may not be able to help. This is dealt with on a case by case basis.

Yes, all clients do require a patch test. Upon booking you can select for this to be posted to you if that's easier.

Tamara offers different brows for different required looks. Tamara will carry out a consultation with you and use her expertise to explain what brow would suit your face and skin type. TB Beauty offers microblading, hairstroke, combination brows, ombre brows, powder brows etc. All brows are bespoke to the client and the style of brow can be decided on the day. Microblading/Hairstroke - Fuller brows with more definition but naturally. Pigment is placed under the top layer of skin, the results are tiny natural hairstrokes that create natural looking brows. Combination brows - Combination brows (often known as Combo Brows) are a mixture of hairstrokes and shading, perfect for those wanting a more defined brow. These brows are good for most skin types and can be as natural or bold as you like. Ombre brows - Ombre brows consist of the application of thousands of tiny dots of pigment, inserted into the skin, gradually building up a colour and defined shape. The tails of the brows are darker and towards the front of the brow is a more shaded, pixelated effect. Ombre Brows are suitable for any skin type. Sometimes called the airbrushed brow, powder brow, or Ombre blush. Powder brows - Similar to the above, but powder brows have a bolder front.
